I also really like the Purity cleanser. I try new cleansers all the time, but always go back to it, because it deep cleans without drying. Try a sample.
Origins Checks and Balances works really well at balancing skin without drying it out. You can get a sample from the Origins counter inside Macy's to try out. My husband really loves it.
You might benefit greatly from an oil cleanser. It should balance out your oily places while hydrating your dry places, and it will never leave you dry or tight. Try AmorePacific Treatment Cleansing Oil.
REN is a great brand to begin. I really like their Clear Calm 3 Anti-Blemish Clay Cleanser. Non-drying at all even though I have acne-prone skin. Good luck in finding your perfect cleanser!
I would go with a balancing cleanser to help even out your combination skin.
A gentle cleanser that works for all skin types would be a great option as well.

The most popular facial wash at Sephora is Philosophy's Purity Made Simple. It is gentle enough not to leave your face feeling stripped of all moisture, but thoroughly cleans your face of all oil and makeup in one step. And you only need a tiny bit to get a good lather for your whole face and neck so the bottle lasts forever.
