Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum. Why do we use it? It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. What is Lorem Ipsum? Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like). Where does it come from?

Where do you like to shop for eco bulk make up & skin care?  I really want to be more eco friendly with my purchases and not purchase make up encased in plastic, but a) still want good quality and b) don't want to resort to using cocoa powder as a bronzer or whatever.  There is an eco bulk home goods store near my place in San Francisco, but I find that their bulk moisturizer is not very moisturizing (I have extremely dry skin).  I don't wear a lot of make up to begin with, but just am frustrated at finding places to buy eco products so I don't have to wear it all myself.

It was a slow day at work today, so I put myself to the test to help get rid of some of my stash. I've been wanting to do a spreadsheet of my makeup for a while and trying to make one from memory without it sitting in front of me really helped me sort out which makeup I treasure and use often enough that I know the brand, formula, and shade with only minimal help from the internet. Hopefully now when I go home and compare my list to my stash, I'll be able to pare it down without feeling bad about it. If I couldn't remember I had it, I clearly don't need it. That said, I'm still retaining veto power over the spreadsheet just in case!

It was too dark for me, and I had to return. I'm very fair, but not nearly porcelain skinned. AND I bought it over the summer, haha! Also - the smaller squares in the palette are the size of a postage stamp. IMO it's not enough product for the price. Plus, the blush was super itchy on me.

I also want to mention I love Bare Minerals All over Face color in Bare Radiance and Rose Radiance. Both give a very glowing flush on the apples of my cheeks. I feel really pretty when I have them on. I get compliments all the time when I wear them!

I like your new look!  Natural always works best for me, even though it can take a good 15 minutes of makeup application to do it. The time it takes increases exponentially as one ages, too. I want to try that Buxom Lip gloss in Leslie, it looks like just my type of color. Thanks for posting, you've given me some great ideas.

My no makeup look: Faking Perfection:primer on the apples of cheeks, under eyes, forehead, and down noseBoing concealer around nose (to take away the reddish color) & over any blemishesErase Paste concealer under eyes (this is brightens w/o shiny-ness)A dusting of face powder or Mineral Veil, paying special attention to the concealer spotsLemon Aid to eyelidsHigh Brow under the browsEye Bright to the inner and outer corners of eyes & to define the cupids bow(yes, I realize I'm a walking Benefit advertisement - what can I say, they have awesome defining/highlighting products) Finishing Touches:(For all the powder products listed I dip the brush into the product, then tap off most of the color onto a tissue. If I need more color, I'll tap the brush into the tissue again to pick up the finest amout of product, layering until the desired color is achieved.)*Using a small brush I apply a very light bronzer under my cheek bones, around the eye sockets, down the sides of nose, and in the basic "3" rule. I then use a very large powder brush to dust excess off of face, then dip the large brush into the bronzer and go over my ears, neck, and chest area. I do this very lightly, but it helps the color to blend naturally.*Then I use a bit of blush on the apples of my cheeks. Since I'm not going to highlight my eyes or lips I like to pick a pink color blush to give some oomph to my look while looking completely natural. My favorite is Stila Custom Color. (this color is especially beautiful in the winter when rosey cheeks are a given in colder climates)*I apply a very light coat of brow powder, enough to darken the brows but not to give any specific definition.*Curling the lashes is sooooo important when going for an au natural look. Heat the eyelash curler with your hairdryer if needed.*Before applying mascara I don't just roll the brush on a tissue, I litterly squeeze the tissue around the wand to make sure there are no glops, goops, or any other yuckiness. Then I put on one, maybe two light coats. To finish off the look I *might* use a dusting of BE's Clear Radiance focusing on the tops of cheeks, down the nose, the cupid's bow, and across the forehead. To apply this I use a fan brush or stippling brush. After putting the product on the specific areas I'll dust the brush on tissue then use the same brush to go over the entire face - removing any loose product from the areas applied to and to distribute the product to the entire face, even if it's done ever so lightly. I continue to use this brush to go over the neck and down the chest area so all skin has the same appearance/texture/glow. Last Step:I use a water bottle with a super fine mist or UD's all nighter makeup setting spray to keep the look dewy and fresh.
